Program Eligibility
- Must be a middle school or high school teacher in STEM
- Must teach in Alabama for the duration of the program
- Must have a teaching appointment for the 2023 - 2024 school year
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must be available for six weeks of the summer as well as follow-up activities throughout the school year
- Live within commuting distance of the USA's main campus (Mobile, AL)
- Use materials from your RET experience research to develop grade-appropriate curriculum materials.
A complete application consists of the following materials:
- Please finish online application by filling in Application Form. To prepare for the online application, you can also download the PDF version of the Application Form.
- Please email your updated resume (in the formats of Word Document or PDF) and two reference letters (including one letter from Principal/Assistant Principal) to to both of the following emails: [email protected], [email protected]. Your resume shall include the information of your current contact information, teaching experience, course taught, research experience, publications, and extracurricular activities.
